Face off: Nivea Extra Whitening Roll-On Deodorant vs Rexona Motionsense Advance Whitening
12:18 AM
I’m a big fan of Nivea for their fabulous product range that
caters everyone’s skin! It’s an ultimate must have for your skin care regimen.
Their lotions and moisturizers are the best, though it feels heavy and oily in
the skin. Living in a tropical country like Philippines, that’s one drawback of
Nivea. But weighing the pros and cons, I’m still shipping for Nivea!
I’d been using Nivea Extra Whitening Roll-On Deodorant for years. I had switched between the orange, pink and pearl variant. I keep on coming back with
this brand due to their superb quality. It doesn’t darken your underarm,
neither does it whiten your underarm. It only maintains it and prevents further
darkening you get for using other products. It lessens but it doesn’t eliminate
the chicken skin (aka Keratosis Pilaris). Thus, there’s a need to clean up your
underarm at the end of the day and exfoliate it once or twice a week. So why did
I switch to Rexona?
First time I tried Nivea, hands down! It feels so comfy and
smells great. But I’ve noticed that it’s staying power is not pretty good. It’s
not 24 hours sweat free, neither it is 12 hours. I felt it’s good for just 6
hours, depending on the activity. Everytime I go outside the office, I’m
already sweating much. It’s just so hot here in the Philippines, that running
for office errands equates to exercising. Is it me or the weather? Or I’m already
immune with the product that my perspiration is already beyond the control of
Nivea. That’s why, I need to clean up and reapply it at the middle of the day. Too
bad.
The Big Switch
Then, one day, I’m a wearing a sleeveless dress and I was
running errands from the office to the bank and to the hardware. But OMG, my underarm
already smells bad. Well, my left underarm was dry but my right underarm was
sweating. So I tried to clean it up with
a wet tissue only since I forgot to bring my Nivea deodorant. But No, the wet
tissue can’t handle it. After 5 minutes, it’s already sweating and smelling
bad! Super gross. Well played, Delsie.
I felt shy to go to the hardware smelling like vinegar. So I
dropped by in the nearest drugstore and bought a budget deodorant, which is
Rexona Motionsense Advance Whitening. To my surprise, I didn’t sweat all day
until I rinse it off. It’s powder dry and smells great all day. Plus, it
gradually whitens my underarm. Rexona was beyond my expectations. Its quality
is more than the price I’ve paid.
It’s been 2 weeks since I bought Rexona. So far, I’m impressed
with its drying effect which feels like powder on your underarm. It’s long
lasting floral scent and lastly, it’s softening and lightening effect due to the
Sunflower Seed Oil. Maybe their 7 day claim means gradual and slow lightening.
At least, their 48 hour anti perspirant is really true and I can attest to that
claim! I hope I can give you a review on it’s whitening effect, let’s give it a
month or two to test it’s whitening effect.

The Winner: Rexona Motionsense Advance Whitening
Love it! Rexona won't let you down! This is a must try product for those who has active
lifestyle! For girls like me who sweat much and has some armpit odor, worry
not, this product can help us a lot!
But remember that our lifestyle has a lot to say about our perspiration
and body odor. This may due to hormones, diet and medications. So let’s have a
healthy and balanced diet! Reduce red
meat and alcohol, ladies. Stay away from processed foods and say yes on fruits
and veggies! But there’s one thing I can’t give up, and that’s coffee! LOL. Cheers
