Searching for a beach resort is a really exhausting job.
Inquiring and finding out that almost all resort has been fully booked in the
weekends made me decide to just wait for the slack season or the rainy days. Sometimes,
when I thought I was successful in searching a resort, I was wrong after I read
some negative reviews and feedbacks in its facebook fanpage. One tip though
that I learned in searching for a resort: If you wanted to know what the resort
looks like, search for it in facebook, then you’ll see photos posted by
different people. Don’t depend on the resort’s website. Most of the time, it is
deceiving!
But through the help of Instagram, I saw a photo of Lilom
Beach Resort in Anilao Batangas and it took my breath away! How come a beach
resort like this exists? I’ve searched it in facebook and instagram and it
looks so great! Almost all reviews are positive.

They won’t give you contact numbers for inquiry and booking.
But how come I trusted them? I trusted them through the various positive reviews
both in facebook and blogs. And I know they are legit because I deposited for a
corporation, not to a person.
Anyway, they are very accommodating. Their management
replies fast and in detailed for all my inquiries. Just remember to transact
through their one and only email: lilomresort@gmail.com
ROOMS AND RATES:
Their rooms and the corresponding rates are comprehensively
listed in their websites. So it’s Php 2,800 per person for all rooms except for
Satcho’s room which amounts to Php 3,300.00 per person. It’s a per person rate
and it’s inclusive of meals and almost everything you’ll need.
We choose the Satcho's place.

Few information from the resort's website: Satcho's House is named after the dog Satcho who used to hang out at the porch of this little hut before we converted it into the room you see now. The wooden ledge where Satcho used to perch on and stare into the sea is still there right by the main door. This most sought after kubo has its own private porch with a hammock overlooking the sea. Perfect for couples, it has a double size canopy bed, airconditioning, bathroom with hot shower.
Too bad, I didn't have a picture of the interiors. But really, This room has exceeded all my expectations. The place is so relaxing. How I wish I have a place like this where I can stay to escape city life. Oh well.

Meals are included in the fees. You don’t need to bring any
food because you won’t be able to eat it! Haha. Their servings are in big
portions. It looks like a buffet but I’m not sure. We were not able to finish
all the food. All food taste great!
Imagine the food! and that's just for lunch! As much as we wanted to consume all the food, we could not because we were already full. (Lahat po ng food na yan ay sa amin. Sobrang dami at Sobrang Sarap!!!) #pinoyfood
And that's our meryenda! #suman with pure #tsokolate, This is what I love most about this resort, You don't choose the food and make tipid for yourself. The resort surprises you with the food they serve.

SEASHORE EXPERIENCE:
Lilom is a small yet promising resort. Don’t expect for
white sands. It is a rocky seashore though, mostly boulders and pebbles. But
hey, don’t be down. Just take a few steps, jump in and start getting acquainted
with all sorts of underwater creatures. It has clear turquoise waters, perfect
for underwater exploration. Another good thing, Lilom Resort provides snorkelling
gear with no additional fee! J

The staffs are very accommodating. Hands down to the team of
Lilom Resort! They communicated us from the time we traveled to the resort. We
went through the resort through commute. One of the staff fetched us from where
the tricycle dropped us off. He carried all our bags then guided us in the
stairs down to Lilom Resort. It’s about 250 steps under a canopy of trees.
Then, they greeted us with a calamansi juice! Yey! I was pampered by these
people. I love them! :)
ACCOMODATION:
The place is a paradise! PERIOD. I won’t go into detail on
what the place looks like, let the pictures speak. (minus my not so good photography skills) I promise you, you won't regret this!

2. The rate already includes arrival day lunch, afternoon merienda, cocktails, dinner, departure day breakfast, drinking water, tea and coffee.
3. Check in time is 12 noon and check out is 11am.
4. Bookings are essential and are best coursed via email. Sorry we don't have a phone line for enquiries and bookings.
5. Since the place is really small, we can't accept daytrippers when we are full which is usually on weekends.
6. We have a pocket wifi for emergency or light usage.
7. A 50% deposit into our BPI account is needed to confirm a booking and we only accept cash in the resort.
8. We generally can't accept walk ins.
9. You can block off the entire resort for a private stay.
